Beginner Snowboards
Buying anything these days can be complicated, everything is so segmented and advanced! A snowboard is no different so we devised this page to give some idea of what is good in a beginners snowboard & what isn’t.
1. Brands
Stick with a known, trusted brand. Why? Because if anything goes wrong with your board you can in most cases get it sorted out worldwide & given that we go to other countries to ride the mountains, this is important. By buying a trusted brand like Burton, Ride, K2, Salomon etc you are making life easy on yourself should you run into problems.
2. Board Styles
Choose the right board style – it’s really pointless buying a full on freestyle or speed board when you’re learning. Why? Because you’ll make life really, really difficult for yourself. You want to enjoy riding snowboards so make sure you buy a low/mid price board that isn’t a specialist design.
